Last summer the de Young Museum in San Francisco featured The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk exhbit. It was absolutely FIERCE (creativity & inspiration overload) and the best part is… I was allowed to take snapshots so I get to share them with you!!
Jean Paul Gaultier left his John Hancock at the entrance of the exhibit.

Sunday morning outing with my mom, we visited the Farmers Market. I was totally in love with all the fresh and organic products.
Organic herbs
I purchased 3 candles from Kaum Home (vetivert eucalyptus lavender, lemongrass ginger, & pomegranate grapefruit lime) They smell amazing!!!!
Mulberry anyone?? Kinda taste like a blueberry, strawberry, & raspberry combo
Fresh preservatives
Cut about 2-3″ of the stems off, and placed the freshly cut stems in filtered water.

Problem: I love anything that makes me feel glamourous and that is the main reason why my room has become cluttered with many accessories and things that I love.
Solution: Customized “Jewelry & Accessory Box”
1. I purchased the Alex Drawer unit with 9 drawers at Ikea http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50192822/
Love the storage space but all white…. super boring
Supplies: Decorative paper, Mod Podge (2 bottles), scissors, Xacto knife (not necessary if u prefer using scissors, & a pencil.
** The Paper Store has AMAZING paper
The decorative paper I used was 17″ x 27″ and I purchased 7 sheets.
2. Outline the shape of the drawers so you can have a precise cut. Paint Mod Podge on the surface before you apply your decorative paper. Once the decorative paper is placed on the surface paint more Mod Podge on top- this step is very important to seal the decorative paper in place.

3. Once I finished applying the decorative paper to the Ikea Alex unit, I put the unit together. See below for end result.

Saturday was absolutely gorgeous, I spent the day downtown on the prowl for inspiration and creativity. I finally…. took the time to visit the Topshop store in LA, personally I prefer the Topshop in NYC (Broadway) & London (Oxford St). The LA store was cute but I just found the energy a little weak compared to NYC & London.
